Description

Four valves that comprise two complete freshwater mussel specimens. The exteriors of the valves are brown in color with varying shades of light and dark brown. Well defined growth lines and striations radiate horizontally from the hinge across the shell. Thick, dark brown color bands appear on the exteriors of the shell. The interiors of the shells are white in color with a glossy iridescent hue.
