Description
Superintendent Babcock wrote that since his annual report of 1894, he had said that tuberculosis is "the chief cause of mortality among our patients." Reports that the hospital is not adequately addressing the problem, and that back in 1894 he "advocated the isolation of tuberculosis patients from the nontuberculosis."
