Palmetto Variety. Surplus Peaches Given to Hospital

"On Wednesday morning, June 27, 1962, the first refrigerated truckload of government purchased peaches arrived at the Supply Branch, Columbia Unit, South Carolina State Hospital, from the Ridge section of South Carolina, as action to avert a marketing crisis."
