This freely-accessible digital publication of his correspondence and other documents offers invaluable insights into diplomacy, finance, slavery, and business in the late 18th and early 19th centuries in the United States and Europe.

Preserve a rich archival legacy

The project includes nearly 12,000 documents from archival collections across the United States and Europe. Among them, approximately 3,000 documents are being fully edited for publication, while the remaining 9,000 are being calendared for future access.
